The End Of My Summer

Its the beginning of August everyone, which means schools once again will pick back up. (yay)  All though it still feels like summer everyday weather wise.  Its only 10:30 and it's already almost 80 degrees outside!   Well as I sit here in my room typing to no one in particular, I'm thinking back on this AMAZING summer I've had!  I've made new friends and leaps and bounds in my job and relationship!

Ryan was out here for a majority of my summer.  He flew out the last week in June and just left today (sad kitten Kira).  And the first thing we did together (besides the obvious ;3) was a road trip to Las Vegas!  This was the first time either of us have been and even if it wasn't the greatest time, it was an experience to say the least.  I lost all my money to slot machines and alcohol stands (boo)  Most days for Ryan and I were spent together doing anything to nothing.  Some of the best days we had together were when we just sat at home watching Youtube videos, t.v. or playing Kingdom Hearts!  We went to Disneyland twice, and both of those times go into my top 10 favorite visits to Disneyland I have ever had!  We had dinner dates to Cheesecake Factory and stay in movie nights with a little wine.  We saw Deliver Us From Evil, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, SexTape, Hercules, and Guardians of the Galaxy! (which btw some reviews will be posted soon hopefully onto Critics Corner)  He taught me how to play better Super Smash Bros. We had some great sex!  We spent a week with my family in Lake Havasu.  Needless to say, it was a pretty awesome summer!

I got a promotion at work too! I am now a filler for the Cheesecake Factory!  Which means more hours and money and responsibilities!  my training was last weekend and now next week I already have 4 fill shifts in a row all by myself! I couldn't be more excited and terrified at the same time!  I really love the place I work right now,  I enjoy most of the people that I work with and sometimes the guests are O.K. ha!  (Plus I get free food, and who wouldn't love that!?!)  I'm a little bummed that this now means that I won't be able to work at the L.A. County Fair now this year, but that also means I'll be able to go more often now!

Now I'm moving on into my last Fall semester at Citrus college!  FINALLY!!!!!  I've got all my classes except one all lined up!  And it's the one class that matters the most to me kinda haha!  I'm wait-listed for my math class because I had work at the exact time I could register soooooo I lost a spot in that class!  But I am also taking a tech class (finally) and advance acting and IMPROV!  WOO!  I've still got about 3 more weeks of freedom before school, but that will be spent all at work!

So now that I have given you my summer life story here, I guess I can end this post now :)

That awkward monent when...

So the whole family (mom, dad, brother, boyfriend, and myself) are out in the backyard hanging out and talking. 
Then my dad tells us "ya know we'd be sacrificing some bitches tonight cause the stars are all in alignment."  Then he turns to me and jokingly says "we be sacrificing you tonight sweethart. We'd have to throw you in a volcano or something!"
Now, without missing a beat my mother and I say "No you wouldn't cause I'm/she's not a......!"  Realizing I almost flatout told my dad I'm not a virgin with my boyfriend in the room, I couldn't tell who blushed more, my dad or boyfriend!

Aaaaaaawwwwwkward!!!!

Lingering smells...

Do you ever go some place and when you leave you can still smell it, like ON you???

I just got back from the bowling ally and I can still smell it on me.  It smells like the oil they put on their lanes...it's all in my hair!  And it always seems to be unpleasant smells that linger; except sunscreen! I love the smell of sunscreen :3

I'm back bitches!

Howdy! Okay, so I guess we can all agree that I am a horrible blogger! I'm going to TRY to keep up with blogging (for anyone who actually cares to read this).

So I guess for starters I can give a few updates!  
I only have one final semester to take at citrus and I will be graduating with two degrees! A transfer AA in theatre arts and a general AA in fine and performing arts :) how exciting! Then after that...I have NO idea what I'm going to do! That worries me though...I would love love loooooove to go to Cal States Long Beach but that means I'd have to move out down there, which I don't mind doing but the problem is that I don't have a high enough income to be living on my own right now.  So that's my college dilemma...an education should be affordable dammit!

Speaking of income, I did get a new job at The Cheesecake Factory :) I love it so much(sometimes).  The people I get to work with are amazing (expect more blogs about them)and I'm hoping for a promotion soon! Like in a week or two soon! I'm a host right now and I run tables back and greet the guests that come in right now, I want to be moved up to the filler position and they get to seat everyone, kinda like running the restaurant without actually running the whole restaurant.  

Ryan is here right now! He's on his summer vacation and he'll bee here till August, and theeeeeen I'm going to be road tripping out there with my best friends Zach and Katlin! 

Things are pretty exciting right now and I hope to keep things posted here hahaha.

Whelp this is Kira signing off!

So tomorrow Ryan and I leave for Kansas City, Missouri!  Its about time too!

To make a long story short....this place is WILD!  There's going to be a party every other night! And I'm so so excited!  But....also scared...cause I may be forced to be in the same company as his Ex, whom I can not S-T-A-N-D.

Hello World!

Howdy!

Welcome to my blog! I don't really know how the whole blogging scene really works though.  I see people blog alllll the time and I always feel like "who'd want to read my blog...I'm not interesting..." hah

But here I am anyway...blogging away! So I guess a good place to start is an introductory.

My name is Kira Lin Jamison, you can call me Kira, or Kiwi (name was given to me in high school, if ya wanna know ask) and few people do call me Kira Lin.  I like to think of that as my stage name :)  I mean doesn't it just roll of the tongue so smoothly?! Kira Lin.  Staring: Kira Lin!  Anyway, enough of my daydreaming! If you didn't already guess, I want to be an actor.  It's always been my dream! It's my calling!  I've been a camera whore and a spotlight hog ever since I could walk and talk.

I've taken dance lessons and gymnastics but I'm still one of the clumsiest people you will ever meet.  My first real stage performance that I auditioned for was in middle school.  I've stared in a production of "Robin Hood", "Aladdin', and "A Pirates Life For Me". And in high school I was in countless shows, musicals, theatre festivals, improv performances, and showcases.  I'm not making this blog my resume of shows so if ya wanna know what I've done, ask away! :)

Sooooooooo enough of my shout out to any possible agents out there.......*this is your cue now mister bigshot agent to call me or message me, just sayin!* I've been on this planet called Earth for about 20 years and 4 months now!. If you do the math you can conclude that my birthday is March 20th! (for any of you that may want to send me a birthday present ;D) 

I like any kind of music except super hard like death metal :(
Country is my all time favorite though!
I like to watch tv and movies and stuff :)

I am in a long distance relationship with a wonderful man named Ryan Sweeney from Kansas City, Missouri! (I'll post about how we met later, and some of what I blog will be about us) So to anyone in a similar relationship, I feel you! And we can mope about how much we miss our boy/girlfriend together!

I go to Disneyland maybe once a month! So any Disney fans out there...shout out to you for loving something so freaking awesome!  In fact I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow with my boyfriend and friend tomorrow!  

ooooohhhhkaaaaayyyy so this is just a general who I am kind of post. And I think I have blabbered on enough!.  If you've made it this far...I applaud you! And thank you for taking time out of your awesome lives to read this first post on my first blog!
